News for Marsden Maritime Holdings Limited (MMH.NZ)

The next step towards implementation is an application to the High Court to be heard on 13 June for final orders from the court to approve the scheme.  Assuming final orders are made the scheme is scheduled to be implemented around 26 June 2025.

The move was initiated by NRC, which currently holds 53.6% of the shares in MMH, following a review of its investment in MMH (as part of a wider investment portfolio review), which identified POT and TT as consortium partners.

Maritime Union would be following the issue up with Northland Regional Council and would be seeking the removal of Mr Gibson from the MMH Board, says Maritime Union of New Zealand National Secretary Carl Findlay.
