The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.9 per cent down at 51335.4.

Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Maruti Suzuki and Eicher Motors were among the top losers on NSE.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.66 per cent up at 42507.5.

Trent, M&M, Infosys, Hero MotoCorp and Adani Ports SEZ were among the top losers on NSE in today's trade.
