The Nifty IT index was trading 0.29 per cent up at 37931.6.

Tata Steel has been given a ‘Buy rating, with Jefferies increasing its target price to Rs 180 from Rs 165. Meanwhile, JSW Steel has received a ‘Hold rating, with its target price revised upward to Rs 920 from Rs 850. Hindalco continues to be a favored pick with a ‘Buy rating and a target price of Rs 800.

The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.29 per cent down at 20949.0.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.46 per cent up at 20471.25.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 82.91 points up at 22635.4

The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.09 per cent up at 48541.75.
