Stocks including Vodafone Idea, NBCC (India), BEML, Hero Moto, IRCTC, Kolte Patil, ITC, Jupiter Wagons, Cyient DLM and more will be in the spotlight on Wednesday, February 12.

BEML Limited has partnered with South Korea's STX Engine to co-develop, manufacture, and market Battle Tank engines, marine engines, and components. This strategic collaboration, formalised at Aero India 2025, aims to boost self-reliance in critical defence technologies, reduce import dependency, and explore export opportunities while strengthening Indian defence capabilities with advanced propulsion solutions.

BEML reported a consolidated net profit of ₹24.41 crore for the third quarter of FY25 down 49.35 per cent compared to ₹48.2 crore in Q3 of FY24.

BEMLs PAT for Q3FY25 was Rs 24.41 crore, a sharp decline from Rs 48.2 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue also fell 16.35% YoY to Rs 875.77 crore from Rs 1,046.97 crore. For the nine months ending December 2024, net profit stood at Rs 4.97 crore, with total income from operations at Rs 2,369.69 crore.

While the BSE PSU index was trading flat at 17,993.16, BDL shares were down 0.53 per cent at Rs 1,208.85 on BSE. Cochin Shipyard Ltd declined 0.48 per cent to Rs 1,416.85. REC shares were flat at Rs 440.20.

Sensex, Nifty updates on 6 February 2025: Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty slid for the second consecutive day on Thursday amid caution ahead of the RBI’s monetary policy decision and fresh foreign fund outflows. The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 213.12 points or 0.27 per cent to settle at 78,058.16. The NSE Nifty declined 92.95 points or 0.39 per cent to 23,603.35 with 30 of its constituents closing lower.

In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks were trading in the green, while 22 stocks were trading in the red.

PSU stocks such as Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), Cochin Shipyard Ltd, MMTC Ltd, ITI Ltd and Oil India Ltd have led the losers, falling 47-59 per cent.
