Patel Engineering Share Rise 5% Today: The rise in Patel Engineering share price came after the company said that it has bagged an order worth Rs 240.02 crore from NHPC.

The parties will also have the flexibility to participate in tenders and project bids either jointly or separately.

Shares of state-run Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) rose 5% in the afternoon session on Friday after the firm said it won a fresh order worth Rs 202.87 crore from South Eastern Railway. The order has to be executed within 18 months. RVNL shares surged 4.94% to Rs 608 on BSE against the previous close of Rs 579.35. Total 17.69 lakh shares of RVNL changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 103.95 crore.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd will complete the project in an 18-month period

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) have delivered multibagger returns in the last two years. The multibagger stock, which closed at Rs 32.85 on August 29, 2022 rose to a high of Rs 600 today, clocking 1,718% returns during the period. In comparison, the benchmark BSE 500 index climbed 50% in two years. In the current session, RVNL shares rose 3.75% to a high of Rs 599.75 on BSE after the firm said it has inked a MoU with Patel Engineering. Total 6.86 lakh shares of RVNL changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 40.51 crore.

The rise in Patel Engineering share price came after the company said that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a state-owned railway company.

RVNL shares ended on a flat note at Rs 579.35 on BSE in the previous session. Total 13.91 lakh shares of RVNL changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 80.59 crore.

Stock including Tata Steel, NTPC, Firstcry, LIC of India, SpiceJet, RVNL, Lemon Tree Hotels, CDSL, Jai Corp and more may remain under the spotlight before the opening bell on Friday, August 30.
