The Nifty Auto index closed 0.36 per cent up at 21903.7.

The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.41 per cent up at 21438.05.

The Nifty IT index closed 0.57 per cent down at 33941.05.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.5 per cent up at 21458.35.

The Nifty Bank index was trading 1.0 per cent up at 55858.65.

The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.09 per cent up at 21845.8.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.69 per cent down at 33901.15.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.39 per cent up at 876.1.

Indian frontline indices recorded their sixth consecutive gains on Monday closing with strong uptick led by BFSI and IT counters. The BSE Sensex jumped 1078.87 points or 1.40% to 77,984.38, while the Nifty climbed 307.95 points or 1.32% to end the day at 23,658.35.Commenting on the day's action, Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities said that Nifty has surpassed the resistance level of 23,600, witnessing a further extension of its upward move.

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited's credit rating upgraded by Care Ratings for bank facilities totaling ₹1,423 crore, reflecting strong financial performance.

On Tuesday, IndusInd Bank's share price plunged by 27.17% on the BSE, marking its largest single-day drop since the company was listed. Closing at Rs 655.95 per share, the stock reached its lowest point since November 2020.

An analyst from StoxBox said that Yes Bank struggles to hold key support levels and lacks clear directional momentum. The RSI stands at 30.85, nearing oversold territory but not yet signaling a reversal.

The largecap banking stock nosedived to a 5-year low of ₹649, the lowest level last seen in March 2020, while its m-cap slipped to ₹51,102 crore.

Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, fell on Tuesday, impacted by losses in Reliance Industries and IT stocks, following declines in Asian markets. This downturn was driven by Trump's reiterated commitment to impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico and 10% on China, effective from 10:31 a.m. IST, leading to a cumulative 20% tariff on Chinese goods.
