NSE Indices has launched the ‘Nifty India Internet & Ecommerce Index' to track the performance of companies that largely conduct business through online platforms.
This announcement comes after a previous decision to add six companies to the F&O segment, namely Castrol India, Gland Pharma, NBCC, Phoenix Mills, Solar Industries, and Torrent Power.
The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex pared most of the gains to trade higher in Wednesday's session. The indices were trading 0.05% and 0.19% higher, respectively. Below are the stocks which are buzzing in the afternoon trade.
The NSE of India will include six new stocks in the Futures and Options segment from January 31, 2025. The stocks are Castrol India, Gland Pharma, NBCC, Phoenix, Solar Industries India, and Torrent Power. Details about market lot and scheme of strikes will be announced on January 30, 2025.
NSE has announced the exclusion of 16 securities, including Abbott India, PVR Inox, and Gujarat Gas, from the F&O market starting Feb. 28, 2025, as part of new SEBI guidelines aimed at improving liquidity and preventing manipulation.
