Shares of Paytms parent company, One97 Communications, fell 5.5% after the Union Cabinet approved a Rs 1,500 crore incentive to promote low-value UPI transactions. The scheme offers small merchants a 0.15% incentive on UPI transactions up to Rs 2,000. Shares of Infibeam Avenue fell 8% to a day's low of Rs 27.93 on the BSE today, as the stock turned ex-date for its spin-off involving Infibeam Avenues, Odigma Consultancy Solutions, and Infibeam Projects Management. According to the scheme of arrangement, shareholders of Infibeam Avenue will receive 1 fully paid-up equity share (with a face value of Re 1) of Odigma Consultancy Solutions for every 89 equity shares they hold in Infibeam Avenue.
Infibeam Avenues shares fell 8.09 per cent to hit a low of Rs 27.93 on BSE, before recovering some lost ground. The stock was later trading at Rs 28.89, still down 1.73 per cent.
