NCLT has approved West Coast Paper Mills’ Resolution Plan to acquire Uniply Decor for less than its liquidation value. The CoC approved the Plan with 100% majority. West Coast will pay creditors Rs. 28 crore, while the liquidation value of Uniply is Rs. 38.03 crore. The Plan is binding on Uniply and other stakeholders, and West Coast is one of India’s oldest and largest paper producers..

“Our consultant, Lagrange Point Advisors LLP, an investment banking firm based in Mumbai informed us that the resolution plan to acquire Uniply Decor has been approved verbally by the Chennai Bench of the NCLT,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
