Shares of tiles maker NITCO will be in focus on Thursday following the companys announcement of a Rs 105 crore order from Bengaluru-based real estate firm Prestige Group. NITCO will supply tiles and marble for several Prestige Group projects across various cities.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks were trading in the green, while 10 stocks were trading in the red.

The Nifty IT index closed 0.03 per cent up at 30981.6.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 94.5 points up at 19437.15

Based on the OI percentage, 75 stocks, including Alkem Laboratories, PI Industries, Escorts Kubota, MRF and Dixon Technologies saw long unwinding.

In the Nifty 50 index, 12 stocks ended in the green, while 36 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.
