Sensex, Nifty updates on 22 May 2025: Indian benchmark indices ended sharply lower on Thursday, tracking a global selloff triggered by concerns over rising US debt and bond yields. The BSE Sensex plunged 644.64 points, or 0.79%, to close at 80,951.99, after falling over 1,100 points intraday. The NSE Nifty dropped 203.75 points, or 0.82%, to settle at 24,609.70.
