Route Mobile Promoter, Proximus Opal, plans to sell up to 3.8 million equity shares, or a 6.03% stake in the company, through an offer for sale. Non-retail investors can bid for the OFS shares on Thursday, while retail and non-retail investors can bid on Friday for the unallotted bids carried forward from the previous day. The floor price for the OFS has been set at Rs 1,635 per share.

The promoter entity of Route Mobile Ltd. offloaded 1.94% stake in the company for Rs 203 crore via open market transactions on Friday. Proximus Opal sold 12.24 lakh shares at Rs 1,656.6 apiece, according to bulk deal data on the NSE. The promoter held 83.11% equity as of June.

The underlying trend of Nifty continues to be positive. A sustainable move above 24000-24100 levels could pull Nifty towards another Fibonacci extension resistance of around 24380-24400 levels in the near term.

The Nifty Bank index closed 0.11 per cent down at 52811.3.

Shriram Finance, L&T, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors and Divis Labs were among the top losers on NSE in today's trade.

Burnpur Cement, GRP Ltd, Route Mobile, KDDL Ltd and Hindustan Comp, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities, noted that the Nifty had slipped lower in early trades, but bulls were able to defend around the 55 EMA on the hourly chart. He indicated that the trend would remain positive for the short term as long as it remained above 23,300, where a buy-on-dips strategy might favor traders.
