Trump tariffs impact: IT stocks were the top losers today with shares of Infosys (2.64%), TCS (3.13%), Tech Mahindra (3.04%) and HCL Technologies (2.99%) falling the most on Sensex.

Sentiments were also negative ahead of US Fed's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) set to announce its policy rates today.

Nifty 50 components see Shriram Finance, HDFC Life, Tata Steel, Power Grid, and Apollo Hospitals leading gainers.

Nifty 50 gainers include Asian Paints, Tata Motors, Hindalco, Shriram Finance, and ICICI Bank, while Bajaj Finserv lags behind.

Market cap of Mastek Ltd climbed to Rs 7462 crore. A total of 0.42 lakh shares of the firm changed hands, amounting to a turnover of Rs 9.81 crore on BSE.

In the Nifty 50 index, 46 stocks were trading in the green, while 4 stocks were trading in the red.

Indian markets closed higher on Monday, led by financial and healthcare stocks. Analysts anticipate range-bound movement amid tariff uncertainties, with investor focus on upcoming FED and BOJ meetings for economic cues.
