The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.03 per cent up at 52993.6.

Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, HUL and Tata Steel were among the top losers on NSE.

Lakshmi Finance, Jay Shree Tea, V Mart Retail, Zee Media Corp and Maan Aluminium, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.88 per cent down at 1089.35.

V2 Retail was locked in 5% upper circuit at Rs 1,284.85 on the NSE after Motilal Oswal MF bought a 2 per cent stake in the company via the open market on Monday.

Indian indices hit new record highs for the third straight session, boosted by the US Fed's rate cut. Analysts remain positive on the market's outlook, with Nifty expected to rise towards 26,200. Support is at 25,700.

United Polyfab Gujar, Optiemus Infra, SBFC Finance, Bannari Amman and V Mart Retail, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:43AM.

ICICI Bank, Eicher Motors, Wipro, Infosys and HCL Tech were among the top losers on NSE.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.87 per cent up at 23205.2.

Indian equity indices closed higher on Wednesday amid market volatility, supported by gains in Consumer Durables stocks. NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex saw modest increases, while analysts highlighted possible intraday pullbacks.

"On the daily charts, we can observe that Nifty has witnessed a breakdown from the consolidation on the downside. The selling pressure can intensify on the downside. Immediate support stands at 24037 which is the 40-day moving average. A breach below it can take the Nifty down towards 23600. On the upside, 24300 is the immediate hurdle from a short-term perspective," Jatin Gedia of Sharekhan.

Nifty closed 66 points lower, ending above the 24,400 mark and forming a High Wave candle pattern. Analysts indicate a sustainable move above 24,580 is needed to confirm a near-term bottom reversal. The index has broken below the 10-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) support and is now nearing the 20-day EMA support around 24,270.

The NSE Nifty 50 ended 0.12% lower at 24,479, while the S&P BSE Sensex settled 0.09% lower at 80,429. Both indices experienced mild fluctuations around the flat line throughout the day as the federal budget was presented.

The NSE Nifty 50 settled at 24,801, while the S&P BSE Sensex ended at 81,343. Closing at over 24,800, Nifty surged 188 points on Thursday, forming a long bull candle on the daily chart. The 10-day EMA provided consistent support during periods of consolidation throughout the expiry session.

L&T, BPCL, Power Grid, SBI and Grasim Inds. were among the top losers on NSE.

Under the offer for sale, Rekha Jhunjhunwala will offload about 27 lakh shares, and the rest will be sold by Intensive Softshare, Intensive Finance, Chandurkar Investments, Subroto Trading and Finance, Rajnish Gupta, Madhu Surana, Sabita Agarwal among others.
