Indian benchmark equity indices, Sensex and Nifty50, recorded their biggest single-day decline in nearly three weeks, dragged down by slowing corporate earnings and ongoing foreign selling.

Nifty50 and Sensex ended lower due to weak earnings and renewed profit-booking. Key resistance and support levels indicate heightened volatility, while mixed bullish and bearish signals show a rangebound market. High activity and varied interests are noticeable across different stocks, revealing a cautious market sentiment.

Indian indices fell for a third consecutive session, dragged by Bajaj Auto's weak festive sales warning and concerns over high valuations and foreign fund outflows. Sensex fell 495 points, and Nifty declined 221 points. Analyst Rupak De of LKP Securities said that the Nifty has found initial support in the 24,700–24,750 zone. A fall below 24,700 could lead to a significant correction in the market.

Indian indices declined for the second consecutive session on Wednesday, dragged by auto and IT stocks. Nifty 50 closed 0.34% lower at 24,971 points, and Sensex fell 0.39% to 81,501 points. Analysts predict a sideways trend with support at 24,900 and resistance at 25,200.

"On the daily charts, we can observe that Nifty has witnessed a breakdown from the consolidation on the downside. The selling pressure can intensify on the downside. Immediate support stands at 24037 which is the 40-day moving average. A breach below it can take the Nifty down towards 23600. On the upside, 24300 is the immediate hurdle from a short-term perspective," Jatin Gedia of Sharekhan.

Analysts indicated a weak momentum, highlighting key support and resistance levels to watch. Stocks like Divi's Labs and Equitas Small Finance Bank showed bearish trends, while others exhibited strong buying interest.
