The NSE Nifty 50 recovered from the previous session's fall and the S&P BSE Sensex logged its best winning streak in four months to close at their highest levels as Reliance Industries Ltd. and private banks led the gains. The Nifty ended 51 points or 0.22%, up at 23,567, while the Sensex closed 141.34 points or 0.18%, up at 77,478.93. During the day, both indices gained over 0.4%.

Among smallcaps, Kaveri Seed was LIC ownership reducing by about half to 2.66% in Q3. In MOIL, LIC stake fell from 7.42% to 5.46% quarter-on-quarter, shows ACE Equity data.

All the sectoral indices ended in the green, with auto, capital goods, IT, FMCG, metal, oil & gas and power up 1-2 percent

The company’s net consolidated income stood at Rs 287.4 crore in Q4 FY23, 0.87 percent lower from Rs 290 crore in yar-ago quarter

Based on the OI percentage, as many as 88 stocks, including Mphasis, Escorts, GNFC, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, and Indraprastha Gas, saw a short build-up.

Indian equity benchmarks fell sharply in late deals, extending their fall for the third consecutive session as banks, financials and technology stocks dragged.

During this week, BSE Small-cap index added 6 percent, Mid-cap index rose 3.6 percent and Large-Cap gained 2.2 percent.

GIC Housing seems to be breaking out of a downwards sloping parallel channel pattern on the weekly timeframe after one and a half years and on the daily timeframe the stock seems to be breaking out of a consolidation which can be used as a confluence towards the bullish view.

Indian equity markets are likely to open gap down on Wednesday, a day before weekly F&O expiry, amid mixed global cues. Nifty futures were trading 53 points or 0.33% down at 16,216 on Singaporean Exchange signalling that Dalal Street is headed for a negative start.

If bulls manage to defend 17,100 levels in next session and puts it beyond 17,373 levels then eventually the consolidation zone can remain between 17,600 to 16,900 levels, says Mazhar Mohammad of ChartviewIndia.
