The residential and commercial projects developer sales value in the June quarter slipped by 10 per cent and stood at Rs 214 crores, compared to Rs 236 crore in the previous quarter

The presales value was 10% lower sequentially, the company said in an exchange filing on Tuesday. The collection for the quarter, however, rose 17% to Rs 272 crore in comparison to Rs 233 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

The recent consolidation in Nifty amid weak global cues indicates time-wise correction and traders should maintain a positive bias until the Nifty holds 22,200 level, sayd Ajit Mishra, SVP - Technical Research, Religare Broking.

In this week, BSE Sensex rose 596.87 or 0.81 percent to finish at 74,248.22 and touched record high of 74,501.73. Nifty50 index gained 186.8 points or 0.83 percent to close at 22,513.70 and touched new high of 22,619.

The easing of US bond yields and crude oil prices contributed to the recovery in the market last month. Bond yields eased following encouraging inflation data in the US, which strengthened the view that the interest rate hike cycle is closer to the peak.

The BSE Sensex ended the week up 1.86 percent or 1,239.72 points at 67,838.63, and Nifty50 gained 1.87 percent or 372.35 points to finish at 20,192.30

The selling from Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) continued in the eight consecutive week as they offloaded equities worth Rs 746.62 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 3,363.36 crore in this week.

Promoter entity Fortitude Trade and Investment offloads entire 3.39 crore shares or 3.04 percent stake in Adani Transmission at an average price of Rs 786.17 per share, which amounted to Rs 2,666.5 crore.

The equity markets are under pressure for the last two days. Nifty 50 stood at 16,509.35 points, falling by 0.73%, while Sensex opened at 55,390.38 points, falling by 0.67% on July 25. Till 2.10 pm. BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 were trading more than half a per cent up, each, on Thursday, on the day of weekly F&O expiry of contracts

On BSE Sensex, a total of 67 stocks rose to new 52-week highs in the afternoon deals.

While indices traded volatile 50 stocks on the BSE were seen hitting fresh 52-week highs while 79 stocks were down at fresh lows.

The BSE Sensex was trading 1426.92 down at 52876.52 on Monday.

Benchmark indices were sharply lower on Friday, tracking a plunge in global markets on inflation fears and ahead of the US May CPI data. In late morning deals, the BSE Sensex fell over 850 points to 54,461, while the NSE Nifty 50 shed 200 points to hover around 16,250.

Despite the negative sentiment, a total of 173 stocks hit their respective 52-week highs, of which the top 60 stocks touched record highs. This included nine stocks from the 'A' group.
