The families of Jamshyd Naoroji Godrej and Smita Godrej Crishna bought a 1.11% stake in Godrej Consumer Products for Rs 1,645 crore.

RKN Enterprises, a part of Godrej Enterprises Group, on Monday sold shares worth Rs 3,803 crore in Godrej Industries Ltd to members of Godrej Industries Group as part of the Godrej family settlement announced in April. According to the block deal data available on the BSE, RKN Enterprises offloaded a total of 4,25,83,272 shares, amounting to a 12.65 per cent stake in Godrej Industries.

Sensex, Nifty updates on June 20, 2024: Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty soared to new lifetime highs on Thursday, fuelled by robust buying in market heavyweights Reliance, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank amid a recent surge in foreign capital inflows. Rallying for the sixth straight session, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 141.34 points or 0.18 per cent to settle at a new closing peak of 77,478.93. During the day, it surged 305.5 points or 0.39 per cent to 77,643.09. The NSE Nifty rose 51 points or 0.22 per cent to settle at its fresh closing high of 23,567. Intra-day, it soared 108 points or 0.45 per cent to 23,624.

Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the proposed combination involving realignment of interests, legal ownership, and management of various entities within the Godrej group.

On May 1, the group declared that  Adi Godrej and Nadir Godrej will get control of all the listed entities in the group, while Jamshyd Godrej and Smita Crishna will take over the unlisted entities comprising Godrej Boyce & its affiliates

In this week, BSE Sensex lost 1,475.96 or 0.99 percent to end at 72,643.43 and Nifty50 shed 470.25 points or 2.09 percent to finish at 22,023.30. The BSE Smallcap index posted its biggest weekly losses since December 2022 as it plunged 6 percent in the week

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) curtained their selling during the week as they sold equities worth of Rs 816.91 crore, while Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) continued their support as they bought equities worth Rs 14,147.5 crore.

BSE's Sesnex dropped 195.16 points, or 0.26 per cent, to settle at 73,677.13. NSE's Nifty50 index shed 49.30 points, or 0.22 per cent, to end the session 22,356.30 for the day.

Q3 results today: A total of 82 listed companies including Tata Technologies, Vedanta, Adani Power, SBI Life Insurance, and Punjab National Bank, are set to unveil their Q3FY24 results on January 25

Q3 results this week: Notable companies, including KFin Technologies Ltd, L&T Finance, Pidilite Ind, REC Ltd, IIFL Securities, Zensar Technologies, Axis Bank, JSW Steel Ltd, Indian Energy Exchange Ltd, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd, Shriram Finance Ltd, Yes Bank are expected to report results.

Based on the OI percentage, 83 stocks, including Aarti Industries, Syngene International, IndiaMART InterMESH, Laurus Labs, and IDFC First Bank, saw long build-ups.

BSE Sensex added 49.49 points or 0.08 per cent to 59,549.90, while NSE's Nifty50 Index settled at 17,662.15, gaining 13.20 points or 0.07 per cent for the day.
