The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.26 per cent down at 865.05.

Experts feel momentum could continue as FPI flows are expected to continue into India

On July 5, the Nifty 50 closed at 15,810.85 points falling by 0.15% and the Sensex closed at 53,134.35 points, falling by 0.19%, as the US Dollar index reached a fresh 52-week high level at 106.24. Against INR also reached a fresh low of 79.15. Expecting major FII outflow from the Indian stock markets, Nifty and Sensex closed bearish today.

Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a gap-down opening for the broader index in India with a loss of 256 points.

Currently, the index is close to the 61.8 percent Fibonacci retracement level (15,671-18,114), and the 16,600 level would be critical. A break below 16,600 can drag the index lower towards 16,450 followed by 16,200 levels, says Malay Thakkar, Technical Research Associate at GEPL Capital.
