At 3.30 pm, the BSE Sensex declined 930.88 points to 70,506.31, with the Nifty losing 302.95 points to 21,150.15. Sharp unwinding is reflected in mid-cap and small-cap stocks. The Nifty small-cap 100 recorded a percent change of -3.63, while the Nifty mid-cap 100 experienced a change of -3.27%. This was the worst session in three months for small-caps and 12 months for mid-caps.

In May, the company was awarded an order from ONGC for large OD casing pipe with connectors worth Rs 72 crore.

Kacholia had held 5.7 lakh shares or 2.81 percent stake in the company as of March 2023. The stock fell 2.5 percent to Rs 190.

Based on the OI percentage, 92 stocks, including Glenmark Pharma, Tata Communications, JK Cement, India Cement, and Britannia Industries, saw a long unwinding.
