Benchmarks pared initial losses after starting lower on Monday following new allegations by US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research

New Delhi Television Ltd. led a rally in the Adani Group's stocks on Friday, pushing its market capitalisation to Rs 16,9 lakh crore. The increase was also driven by gains in Adani Energy Solutions Ltd., Adani Power Ltd. and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. During the day, the group's market capitalisation gained as much as Rs 36,304.7 crore to Rs 17.1 lakh crore. Shares of NDTV closed 4.74% higher at Rs 239.75 per share on the NSE, compared to a 2.05% advance in the benchmark Nifty.

New Delhi Television Ltd.'s revenue in the fourth quarter of financial year 2024 grew by 59% at Rs 106.5 crore after its digital arm witnessed a 39% rise in global digital traffic in March 2024.

Adani Total Gas stock has corrected from its 52-week high of Rs 1,259.40 which it hit on December 8, 2023, and is trading at a discount of 21% from the peak.

In a press release issued on June 1, 2017, the company had informed the exchanges about the temporary discontinuation of regular business programming on the NDTV Profit channel.

The approval follows the Adani Group's acquisition of a 27.26% equity stake in NDTV from founders Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, with the acquisition completed on December 30, 2022.
